Thirst for Humanity 2021
Water and life is a right. Water can be a resource to an asylum seeker and lead them to a sanctuary where they can grow and enjoy a happy, fulfilling life. This piece is inspired by the brave volunteers in Arizona who shared water for those on a long journey to freedom.
Art made for THIRST 2021 a national collection of artists joining together to raise funds for humanitarian aid at the Arizona-Sonora Border through art and conversation. Part of the art sale proceeds will go to Tucson-based frontline organizations supplying humanitarian aid in the desert.
